Welsh Labour enters 2010 in good heart as we face up to the exciting challenges of the coming year. With a General Election in the months ahead we are ready to fight to keep Wales in a Labour Britain. We will not put at risk the recovery from the global recession and we will go that extra mile to help families, businesses and communities across Wales. At that election we will fight for every vote in every corner of Wales. Our country has come a long way since 1997, but we know that it is only the vision and the opportunities that we offer for the future that will persuade people to vote Labour.

So our members, working with Welsh Labour Leader Carwyn Jones AM and Welsh Secretary Peter Hain MP, our team of MPs, AMs, Parliamentary and Assembly candidates, our MEP Derek Vaughan and councillors across Wales, will focus on returing the maximum number of MPs to the House of Commons.

Join us in that task as we fight to keep Wales in a Labour Britain.
