Constituency Casework Assistant to Kevin Brennan MP

Kevin Brennan, M.P. for Cardiff West is seeking a Caseworker. The post is full time and will be based in his constituency office, in Cardiff.

Salary will be in line with Parliamentary Pay Scales plus 10% employer’s pension contribution.

The post will involve dealing with constituency casework, the production of letters, parliamentary reports, clerical duties and supporting the MP’s surgeries. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in dealing with the public and undertaking confidential casework.

The ideal candidate will have a proven commitment to the aims and ideals of the Labour Party and be educated to graduate level or equivalent. Experience of working in a busy constituency office would be an advantage.

Candidates will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to their work covering a wide and varied range of tasks appropriate to the work of an M.P.’s office.

Constituency Research/Communications Assistant to Kevin Brennan MP

Kevin Brennan, M.P. for Cardiff West is seeking a Research/Communications Assistant. The post is full time and will be based in his constituency office, in Cardiff. However, from time to time there may occasional parliamentary visits.

Salary will be in line with Parliamentary Pay Scales plus 10% employer’s pension contribution.

The post involves both research and communication elements. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in analysis, interpretation and presentation of data together with communication skills both written and verbal, and experience of dealing with the public.

The Ideal candidate will be a Labour Party member, or have a proven commitment to labour values and be educated to graduate level or equivalent. Experience of working in a busy constituency office would be an advantage.
