Vaughan Gething

Vaughan Gething entered the National Assembly winning the Cardiff South and Penarth seat in May 2011.
Vaughan was previously a successful solicitor and partner specialising in employment law with Thompsons Solicitors – the largest trade union law firm in Britain.
He is now a largely retired cricketer and a fan of football and rugby. He has finally learned to swim this year after taking lessons at Splott pool.
Vaughan is a GMB & UNITE member. He led the 500 000 strong trade union movement in Wales as the youngest ever Wales TUC President during 2007/8. Other experience and activity:
